Say hello to Peregrin Reza Foster-Karim, born on May 2nd, 2015 at 5:14 AM EST. He's a big baby, 9 lbs 5.7 oz, and 21 inches tall.

What's in a name?

Peregrin - Wanderer, Traveller, Pilgrim. Also a character in the Lord of the Rings book, Peregrin Took. Another character, Perrin from the Wheel of Time books is a nice nickname we were thinking of when we thought of the name. We've also been calling him Pip, Pippo, and Pipster... you get the idea.
Reza - In Arabic, Reza means contentment. In Spanish, it means "he prays". This was his Great-Grandfather's (Father's Father's Father's) name.
Foster-Karim - Foster comes from the title of "Forester" or "Keeper of territories". Karim is one of the 99 aspects of Allah, meaning Generous.
